Adam Lambert promises 'sexy' debut LP

Adam Lambert has promised that his debut album will "feel really sexy".

The American Idol runner-up told Rolling Stone that he could not yet reveal the title or any potential lyrics or song names for the upcoming record.

Lambert said: "The album's coming along very, very well. We did a big chunk of work on it before the tour started.

"We're continuing the creative process as the tour is going, and we have about three or four weeks when it ends when we're just going to powerhouse some recordings out."

He added: "I think it's going to sound really modern, but there's definitely going to be a nod musically to great songs of the '70s and '80s.

"But all the production and the vibe of its going to sound current, it's going to make you want to dance, it's going to inspire you, some anthems on there, some emotional stuff. Overall it's just going to feel really sexy."

Lambert recently said that his album would be "kind of a fusion thing" of different genres.
